N-Up PDF
Put several PDF pages on each sheet: 2, 4, 9 or 16 to a sheet, or a grid of your own. Runs in your browser.
About This Tool
N-Up PDF makes a new PDF with several of your pages on each sheet: 2, 4, 9 or 16 to a sheet, or a grid of your own of up to 10 by 10. Each page is scaled to fit its place and centred in it.
You choose the sheet size (A4, Letter, Legal or A3), its orientation, the side each row starts from, and whether to leave margins and draw a border round each page. The pages stay sharp and their text can still be selected. What is filled into a form, and comments, highlights and stamps, are drawn as they look and are no longer fields or comments; links and bookmarks are not carried over. A page is placed as a reader shows it: one stored with a rotation, such as a sideways scan, stands upright, and a cropped page shows only what its crop shows.
Everything happens in your browser; the file is not uploaded.

Frequently Asked Questions
What layouts are available?
Two, four, nine or sixteen pages to a sheet, and a custom grid of 1 to 10 columns and 1 to 10 rows. There is no ready-made 6-up: choose "Custom..." and enter 3 columns and 2 rows, or 2 and 3.
Can I add borders between pages?
Yes. "Add border around pages" draws a thin line round each page, in a colour you choose. "Add margins and gutters", ticked to begin with, leaves a margin round the sheet and a small gap between pages; their widths are fixed.
Is page order preserved?
Yes. Pages fill the sheet row by row from the top. "Page order" sets the side each row starts from: it begins as left to right on the English page and as right to left on the Arabic page.
