Add Watermark

Put a text or an image watermark on the pages of a PDF, once in the middle of each page or repeated across it.

About This Tool

Add Watermark prints a text or an image over the pages of a PDF, for example DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL, or a logo.

For a text you set the size, the colour, the opacity and the angle; for an image (PNG or JPG) the opacity and the angle. The watermark sits in the middle of the page, or is repeated across the whole page with the spacing you choose. It cannot be moved to a corner, and an image cannot be resized here. It can go on all pages, on the odd or the even pages, or on the pages you list. Text in Arabic is written in an Arabic typeface, and a preview shows the result on one page.

All processing happens locally in your browser, ensuring your documents remain private.

Yes, a PNG or a JPG; SVG files are not accepted. The image's size on the page cannot be changed here, so prepare it at the size you need.

Can I make the watermark semi-transparent?

Yes. The opacity slider goes from 10% to 100% and starts at 30%.

Can I apply different watermarks to different pages?

The tool applies the same watermark to selected pages. For different watermarks, process the document multiple times.
