Page Dimensions

Analyze PDF page sizes. View dimensions of all pages in your document.

About This Tool

Page Dimensions lists the width and height of every page in a PDF, in points, inches or millimetres. It names the standard size a page matches, such as A4 or Letter, and says whether all the pages are the same size.

Each page is measured as a reader shows it: turned the way the file turns it, and without what is cropped off. The "As stored" column says where a page is kept turned or cropped. The table on screen shows the first 50 pages; the JSON file you can download holds them all.

All analysis happens in your browser, ensuring your documents remain private.

Frequently Asked Questions

What units are available?

Points, inches and millimetres. There is no centimetre setting. The JSON file holds all three for every page, whichever you chose.

Does it show orientation?

Yes: each page is marked portrait, landscape or square, judged from its width and height as a reader shows it. A page the file keeps turned is listed by its shape once turned.

Can I fix inconsistent sizes?

Use Fix Page Size tool to standardize dimensions.
