XPS to PDF
Convert an XPS document to PDF in your browser. Pages keep their size and text stays text; links and bookmarks are not carried over.
About This Tool
XPS to PDF converts a Microsoft XPS (XML Paper Specification) document into a PDF. XPS is a fixed-layout format, like PDF, that Windows uses for printing to a file.
Every page is redrawn in the PDF at its original size: text stays text that can be selected and searched, line art stays vector, and pictures stay pictures. Only the page contents are carried over, so the PDF has no bookmarks and its links cannot be clicked. The tool takes files that end in .xps; OpenXPS files (.oxps) are not accepted.
Your file is not uploaded: the conversion runs on your device. Each conversion first loads an engine of about 40 MB from this site, and the page shows no progress while it works, so allow it some time.
How to Use
Upload XPS File
Drag and drop your .xps file or click to select from your device.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is XPS format?
XPS (XML Paper Specification) is Microsoft's fixed-document format, similar to PDF. It's commonly used for Windows printing.
Is the conversion lossless?
Not entirely. The page contents come across well: pages keep their size, text is kept as text, line art as vector shapes and pictures as pictures, so nothing is turned into a scan. What is lost is what surrounds the pages: the PDF has no bookmarks, and links can no longer be clicked.
Are multi-page XPS files supported?
Yes, all pages in the XPS document are converted to the PDF.
