Remove Blank Pages
Automatically detect and remove blank pages from PDF documents.
About This Tool
Remove Blank Pages shows every page of your PDF as a thumbnail and marks the ones that look empty. You check the marks, change any of them with a click, and the tool removes the marked pages.
A page is marked as blank when nearly every pixel of its thumbnail has the same shade; the slider, from 90 to 100, sets how nearly, and lower values mark more pages. Something as small as a lone page number can be marked as blank at any setting, and a scanned empty sheet with paper grain or shadows may not be marked at all, so look through the thumbnails. The result is a new file: bookmarks, form fields and document properties are not carried over.
All processing happens locally in your browser, ensuring your documents remain private.

Check the Marked Pages

Frequently Asked Questions
How does blank detection work?
The tool analyzes page content and considers pages with minimal or no visible content as blank.
Can I preview which pages will be removed?
Yes, detected blank pages are highlighted for review before removal.
What if a page has only a header/footer?
The lower the slider, the more content a page can have and still be marked; a lone page number may be marked as blank even at 100. Click the page to keep it: your choice overrides the slider.
