Signature Position Guide
Draws a small red label, such as Sign here, onto one page of a PDF at a spot you choose, to show a signer where to sign.
About This Tool
Signature Position Guide draws one small label on one page of a PDF: a box with a red border, a red dot and your text, for example Sign here. You choose the page, type the text and click where the label should go. It is a way to mark the place for a signature before you send a document to someone.
The sheet you click on is a blank sample, not a picture of your page. The spot you click is recorded as a share of the page width and height (shown as X and Y) and applied to the page you chose, so open the result to make sure the label sits where you meant. Each run adds one label; for another, download the result, click "Clear", upload that file and run the tool again.
The label is drawn onto the page like any other content. It does print, it cannot be clicked, and it is not a signature field: the tool does not search the document for signature lines, does not add bookmarks or links, and does not sign anything. Everything happens in your browser; the file does not leave your device.
How to Use
Upload the PDF
Choose the one PDF you want to mark.
Set the Text, Page and Position
Replace the text in "Guide Overlay Text" with what the signer should read, and keep it short because the box does not grow. Enter the page number in "Active Target Page". Then click the sample sheet where the label should go; the red dot shows the spot.
Add the Label and Download
Click "Inject Radar Signature Guide", then "Download". Open the file and check the position.
Use Cases
Showing Where to Sign
Mark the signature line of a contract or form before you email it, so the other party sees at once where to sign.
More Than One Signer
Run the file through once for each signer, changing the text and position each time, to mark every place that needs a signature.
Copies That Are Printed and Signed by Hand
Because the label is part of the page, it also appears on paper, which helps when a document is printed, signed and scanned.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the label appear when the document is printed?
Yes. It is drawn onto the page, so it shows on screen and on paper alike, and this tool cannot hide or remove it afterwards. Keep the original file if you also need a copy without the label.
Does the tool find the signature lines for me?
No. It does not read the text of the document and does not recognise signature lines, whether the PDF is text or a scan. You pick the page and the spot yourself. The spot is taken from a blank sample sheet as a share of the page width and height, so check where the label landed; on a page stored with a rotation it can end up in a different place and appear turned.
Is the label a signature field, and can it be clicked?
No. It is only drawn on the page; it is not a form field, a link or a bookmark, and nothing happens when it is clicked. The pulsing dot belongs to this screen only; nothing in the PDF blinks or moves. The tool does not sign the document either.
