SVG to PDF

Put SVG drawings into a PDF. Each drawing is stored as a picture at the resolution you choose, not as vectors.

About This Tool

SVG to PDF puts SVG drawings into a PDF, one per page. The drawing does not stay a vector graphic: your browser draws it and the tool stores the result as a PNG picture.

Under "SVG Export Quality" you choose how many pixels the picture gets, from 1x to 4x the size the SVG declares; 2x is the starting value. Higher values stay sharp at larger print sizes and make a bigger file. Text in the drawing becomes part of the picture and cannot be selected or searched.

All conversion happens in your browser, ensuring your files remain private.

How to Use

  1. Upload SVG Files

Drag and drop your SVG files or click to select.

  2. Configure Settings

Choose the page size, orientation and margin, and set "SVG Export Quality" from 1x to 4x.

  3. Convert and Download

Click "Convert to PDF", then download the result. The PDF holds pictures, not vectors.

Use Cases

Logo Conversion

Put an SVG logo on a PDF page. For print, set the quality to 4x, because the logo is stored as a picture.

Technical Drawings

Share a drawing as a PDF page. Fine lines are stored as pixels, so they soften when you zoom in.

Icon Collections

Create PDF catalogs of icon sets and graphics.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is vector quality preserved?

No. The SVG becomes a PNG picture at 1x to 4x the size it declares, as set under "SVG Export Quality". Enlarged beyond that, it blurs.

Can I convert complex SVGs?

Gradients, filters and effects come out as your browser draws them. Pictures or fonts that the SVG loads from other files are left out.

What about embedded fonts?

No fonts reach the PDF: the drawing becomes a picture, and its text cannot be selected or searched.
