Add Blank Page

Insert blank pages into PDF documents. Add empty pages at any position.

About This Tool

Add Blank Page puts one or more empty pages into a PDF at a place you choose: before the first page, after the last, or after any page in between. The new pages are the size of the document's first page; the size cannot be chosen.

All the blank pages of one run go in at the same place. For blank pages at several places, run the tool again on the result. The rest of the document, its bookmarks, links and form fields included, stays as it was.

Everything happens in your browser; the file is not uploaded.

How to Use

  1. Upload Your PDF

Drag and drop your PDF file or click to select.

  2. Choose Position

Under "Insert Position", type the number of the page the blank pages should follow; 0 puts them at the start. "Insert at Beginning" and "Insert at End" fill the number in for you. Then type how many under "Number of Blank Pages".

  3. Add and Download

Click "Add Blank Pages", then "Download".

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I choose the page size?

No. Every blank page is the size of the document's first page, even when it is placed among pages of another size.

Can I add multiple blank pages?

Yes. Type the number under "Number of Blank Pages". They all go in together, at the one position you chose.

Can I add colored pages?

No. The added pages are empty and white, and there is no colour setting. Background Color does not help here: it colours every page of a document, not chosen ones.
